I´ve thought about it for a very long time, whether I should actually publish this post as it is so much different from what you´re used to see on this blog and the quality of pictures can´t compete with the previous ones either. Anyway, it was an absolute First for me when we got to spend a day at the international bookfair here in Guadalajara on November 28th and I really can´t keep this from you. Being the 2nd biggest bookfair in the world, it was absolutely impressive to me and I had the greatest time meeting old time favorites in spanish translation and falling in love with a new book ever 5 minutes. Fortunately, I had only brought around 500Pesos, so I had to reduce my purchases to a Chingonario(more on that one another day) and a spanish issue of my favorite novel in the world The Shadow of the Wind-span.: La Sombra del Viento. With these new additions to my library, I should be able to improve my Spanish in no time. =D
Of course, I also added about 20 novels to my ever-growing to-read-list, hoping to find english or german translations to all of them as reading in spanish remains a challenge. I guess I´ll never be able to really"finish" on my to-read-list but as my professor said during our very first lecture at FUBerlin:"Congrats-from now on you will spend your whole lives reading!"

In this regard, I wish all of you a pleasant week and some nice and quiet hours with a great book =)

Saludos&Besitos,
Mandy xx
